Flight Import (SimBrief)
Importing a flight from SimBrief is the fastest way to unlock AeroFeed’s full workflow.
✅ Before you start
Make sure you have:
- a SimBrief account
- your SimBrief Username saved in SETTINGS → ACCOUNTS
⬇️ Import a flight
- Open FLIGHT.
- Click IMPORT (SIMBRIEF).
- AeroFeed downloads your latest OFP.
- Review the route and flight details.
- Click CONFIRM IMPORT.
If configured, AeroFeed may print a preliminary loadsheet right after the import.
What the import enables
After import, AeroFeed can use your flight data for:
- 🖨️ printing (loadsheet, compliance, OOOI log)
- 🧠 automation (phase-driven actions)
- 🛰️ live flight awareness (destination-aware features)
- 💬 ACARS/CPDLC helpers (callsign-aware messaging)
Editions (EDNO)
Each time you import a flight, AeroFeed assigns an edition number (EDNO).
Use EDNO to quickly understand if you are looking at:
- the current flight plan
- an updated OFP after changes (new route, fuel, payload)
When a new flight is imported, AeroFeed may also reset some per-flight state (for example, the Console history) so every flight starts clean.
Common issues
- If the import button is disabled, open SETTINGS → ACCOUNTS and set your SimBrief Username.
- If the import fails, try again later or verify SimBrief availability.
